Walk with me thru the valley of dreams
The mountain of hope
The desert of busy footprints
The sea of calming joy
The forests of hiding places and sanctuary
I am a journeyman
The plants, air, soil,water, all seasons and all creatures
Are my companions
On this tumultuous parade.
 
I am aware always of everything
My comprehension is beyond science
But within the balance of mind, body instinct and beyond.
I damn the ever exploiter
I see only the great wild signs
Of the simple and beautiful, color and shape, large or small
Insects that tolerate our bewildering games.
 
Look in close with me
Thetiny footprints on the desert floor
With the trampling of giants
Observe the delicate signals in the forest
A spider web that tells me the earth is still alive by its numbers
Tunnels of the Antichinus
Mud heaps and holes of the tunneling yabby
The air trails of the birds in the valley
And the worn tracks of the running , strolling Wallaby
The smile of the Rodent when surprised by your smile and gentle voice
The kiss on the hand by singing grasses, trees and shrubs
Hiding nests of small thicket birds.
 
My paintings are a whelling of emotion
A gentle tear when the painting comes to life
Or I see the calmness and acceptance of the gentle ways
From the simple and beautiful.
